On June 27, ����Vlog��ý MIREA welcomed a delegation from Shandong University of Science and Technology (People's Republic of China) which included Zeng Qingtian, Rector of the University. Zhang Qiang, Director of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Engineering, Chen Da, Director of the Institute of Electronic and Information Engineering, Chen Lianjun, Head of the Research Department, Gao Shen, Head of the Department of International Exchanges and Cooperation, Kong Yanjiao, Head of the Section of the Department of International Exchanges and Cooperation.

On behalf of ����Vlog��ý MIREA, the meeting was attended by Alexander Sergeevich Sigov, President of the University, Stanislav Alekseevich Kudzh, Rector, Nikolai Ivanovich Prokopov, First Vice-Rector, Irina Sergeevna Solunova, Deputy First Vice-Rector, Andrey Georgievich Vasiliev, Director of the Institute of Radioelectronics and Informatics, Andrey Sergeevich Zuev, Director of the Institute of Information Technologies, Mikhail Petrovich Romanov, Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Pavel Yuryevich Pushkin, acting Director of the Institute for Advanced Technologies and Industrial Programming, Evgenia Alexandrovna Keller, Head of the International Relations Department.

The meeting started with a welcoming speech by Alexander Sergeevich Sigov, President of ����Vlog��ý MIREA, who thanked the Chinese colleagues for their interest in our University. Stanislav Alekseevich Kudzh, Rector of ����Vlog��ý MIREA, addressing the visitors, guests spoke about the main achievements of our University, highlighted the advantages and the potential of ����Vlog��ý MIREA research centers and laboratories.

The Rector of the Shandong University of Science and Technology in his speech thanked the Russian colleagues for the warm welcome and emphasized that this was his first official visit in the capacity of the rector. The delegation planned to visit our University, as the two universities have many common interests and points of contact from almost identical areas of training undergraduates and conducting graduate programs on similar research projects. Moreover, a graduate of the Shandong University of Science and Technology is studying at ����Vlog��ý MIREA and is completing his studies this year with a cum laude diploma.

As part of the program, the delegation of the Shandong University of Science and Technology visited the Situation Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia created on the basis of ����Vlog��ý MIREA, which has no analogues in terms of technical equipment; the delegation also visited the educational and scientific centers of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence, the Institute of Information Technology and the Institute of Advanced Technologies and Industrial Programming.

The visit of the official delegation of the Shandong University of Science and Technology became the starting point for the development of further fruitful cooperation between the two major technical universities. As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of training highly qualified personnel, development and implementation of academic mobility programs for students and scientific and pedagogical workers, development and implementation of joint educational and research programs and projects, as well as on cooperation in other areas.

Representatives of the Chinese University expressed their interest in the participation of our students in various robotics competitions that take place on the basis of their university, and also invited ����Vlog��ý MIREA employees to visit Shandong University of Science and Technology with a reciprocal visit.
