The international student organization BEST provides a unique opportunity to show talent, demonstrate one’s skills and gain tremendous experience at the annual BEST Hack hackathon. From April 24 to April 30, the BEST Hack hackathon was held at the Moscow State Technical University. N.E. Bauman.

Participants were asked to compete in the following tracks:

Data Science is a direction related to the analysis of big data and the use of methods of mathematical statistics, machine learning, and visualization.

Android development deals with the development of the user interface of a mobile application for the Android operating system in the Kotlin language.

Investment banking technologies are aimed to create a program for monitoring the market and making transactions. Stack: Java, JS, Vue, React, Angular, Google Protocol Buffers, Spring, TCP, Netty, multi-threaded programming.

The GIBDATA team, consisting of students from the Institute of Information Technologies, took part in the Data Science track, competed with 25 other teams and took second place.
