The testing laboratory “Spectroradiometry of optical radiation”, created on the basis of the Department of Metrology and Standardization of the Institute of Advanced Technologies and Industrial Programming of the ����Vlog��ý MIREA, has successfully passed accreditation in the Federal Accreditation Service, RA.RU.21OH53 (the date of entering information on accreditation in the register of accredited laboratories is 19.05. 2022) and received official recognition of competence in accordance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025–2019.

The presence of accreditation for the testing laboratory of ����Vlog��ý MIREA allows testing products in terms of controlling the characteristics of the light environment in industrial premises at workplaces in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents in the field of labor protection and sanitary and epidemiological supervision and issue appropriate certificates based on the test results.

Accreditation of the testing laboratory also opens up wide opportunities for the formation of modern competencies in the field of metrology and standardization for students and graduate students for a number of important areas, such as radiometry, photometry, photoluminescence, location of plasma objects, photochemistry, photobiology, assessment of effective and dangerous effects of UV radiation, as well as for testing and quality control of products in the interests of the government and commercial organizations.
