On May 6, a delegation of the Republic of Cuba visited ����Vlog��ý MIREA once again; the delegation included Walter Baluha Garcia, Minister of Higher Education of the Republic of Cuba, Naima Ariatne Trujillo Barreto, Minister of School Education of the Republic of Cuba, Daisy Fraga Cedre, General Director of the Professional Training Department of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Cuba, Moraima Orozco Delgado, General Director of Management and Strategic Relations of the Ministry of School Education of the Republic of Cuba, Gustavo Jose Cobreiro Suarez, Advisor for Science and Education of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the Russian Federation, and his spouse Milenis Teresa Torres Labrada.

Alexander Sergeevich Sigov, President, Stanislav Alekseevich Kudzh, Rector, Nikolai Ivanovich Prokopov, First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Andrey Vsevolodovich Timoshenko, , Irina Sergeevna Solunova Deputy First Vice-Rector, Evgenia Alexandrovna Keller, Head of the International Relations Department, took part in the meeting representing ����Vlog��ý MIREA.

Alexander Sergeevich Sigov, President of ����Vlog��ý MIREA, addressed the guests of honor with a welcoming speech, thanking the Cuban colleagues for their interest in our University and outlining the main achievements of ����Vlog��ý MIREA in  educational, scientific, research, technical, and innovative activities. Nikolai Ivanovich Prokopov, First Vice-Rector, made a presentation in which he highlighted the main advantages and the potential of the University and the research centers, and also spoke about the work of “Altair” children's technopark on the basis of which schoolchildren can take part in career guidance programs, get acquainted with the work of high-tech equipment and master additional education programs developed by the University staff with the participation of industrial partners of the children's technopark. This activity seemed particularly interesting to Naima Ariatne Trujillo Barreto, Minister of School Education of the Republic of Cuba, who noted that this is an excellent approach to the professional development and education of schoolchildren.

In the course of the visit, the delegation of the Republic of Cuba visited the Altair Technopark, laboratories and educational and scientific centers of the Institute of Information Technologies, the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and the Institute of Radio Electronics and Informatics. The delegation was particularly impressed by the Situation Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia created on the basis of ����Vlog��ý MIREA which has no analogues in terms of technical equipment. The Minister of Higher Education of the Republic of Cuba, Walter Baluha Garcia, expressed his desire to implement such a multifunctional organizational and technical complex in his homeland.

This is the second visit of the honored guests from the Republic of Cuba this year, which manifests the interest of the two states in the further development of fruitful cooperation and expansion of interaction in education, science and technology.
