����Vlog��ý MIREA student Azad Adrita from Bangladesh took part in the III International Historical School of the Russian Historical Society, which was held from May 23 to May 27, 2022 in Tula.

The III International School of History in Tula was organized by the Russian Historical Society, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Tula Region and the Tula State University on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation. The first International School of History was held in December 2020 in the Republic of Tatarstan, the second in September 2021 in the city of Vyborg, Leningrad Region.

This year, 50 Russian and 100 foreign students who have passed a serious competitive selection became participants in the International School of History. They represented 41 countries: Azerbaijan, Angola, Armenia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bulgaria, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Venezuela, Vietnam, Haiti, Georgia, DPR, Zambia, India, Iraq, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Colombia , Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Moldova, Mongolia, Myanmar, Peru, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Montenegro and Sweden.

Within the framework of the project, the participants implemented their own historical and educational initiatives in the following thematic areas:

History of the Russian economy and industry

History of Russian literature

History of Ancient Russia and Muscovy

History of the Great Patriotic War (on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the counteroffensive of the Soviet troops near Stalingrad)

History of the Russian Empire (to the 350th anniversary of the birth of Peter I)

Within each track, an intensive educational program, round tables and discussions, as well as a project competition were planned. A student of ����Vlog��ý MIREA participated in the project dedicated to the history of Ancient Russia and the Moscow kingdom.

The students attended lectures by well-known historians: Sergey Karpov, President of the Faculty of History of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, member of the Presidium of the Russian Historical Society, Sergey Zhuravlev, deputy director for research of the Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, head of the Center for the Study of Contemporary Russian History and Political Science, and other experts.

Azad Adritha shared her impressions of her participation in the history school:

“I really liked it. I made friends with many people from different cities and universities in Russia. I bought memorable gifts, tried Tula gingerbread and took a lot of amazing photos and videos. Tula is a very beautiful city! I am very happy that I had the opportunity to take part in such an event and represent my country of Bangladesh and ����Vlog��ý MIREA, my University.”
