Students of the Economic security specialty program of the ICB ����Vlog��ý MIREA visited the II Eurasian Economic Forum timed to coincide with the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of the heads of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and the observer states.

L.V. Matraeva and E.S. Vasyutina, professors of the University, took part in the session “Innovations and new data sources in EAEU statistics”. The scientific discourse was supported by students of the Department of Economic Expertise and Financial Monitoring and the Department of Financial Accounting and Control, who took an active part in the discussion of topical aspects of the EAEU statistics development vector against the backdrop of global trends, the introduction of innovative information technologies in statistics, and innovations in data visualization.

The practice-oriented nature of the session was predetermined by the participation of Tatyana Radchenko, First Vice President of the Center for Strategic Research Foundation, Galina Vasilyeva, Director of the Statistics Department of the Bank of Russia, Sergey Egorenko, Deputy Head of the Federal State Statistics Service, and other representatives of the government ministries and departments of Russia and countries that are permanent participants of the forum.

Students attended the open-membership sessions: “Science and education without borders” and “EAEU – Indonesia”.
