The students of the preparatory department for foreign citizens of the Institute of International Education of ����Vlog��ý MIREA under the guidance of assistant professor Sofya Belova visited the State Museum of A.S. Pushkin located in an architectural monument of the early XIX century, the urban noble estate of the Khrushchev-Seleznyovs in Prechistenka street.

The students visited the permanent exhibition “Pushkin and his era” located in 15 halls of the main house of the estate. The museum's collection includes about 4,000 portraits, books, manuscripts, objects of arts and crafts, many of which belonged to the friends and acquaintances of Pushkin.

The exhibition space was organized according to the biographical principle, which allowed foreigners to immerse themselves in the world of the Russian nobility and see people of that era at home, in the theater box and ballroom, in a road carriage and at the card table. The listeners were able to get acquainted with the history of the Pushkin family, learned more about the life and work of the great poet.
