On October 5, the University hosted the literary and musical evening "Golden Autumn" under the guidance of teachers and the head of the Russian Language Department (as a foreign language) of the International Education Institute. The participants fulfilled various tasks proposed by the teachers. Freshmen from Mongolia, Cameroon, Nigeria, Vietnam, Morocco, Chad, Yemen, Guinea-Bissau read poems of Russian poets about the autumn.

They did not forget about the International Teacher’s Day, which is traditionally celebrated in early October. The students wrote congratulation letters to the University teachers. At the end of the evening students from Mongolia, Iraq, Venezuela, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Chad, Cameroon, Iraq performed national dances, jokes and songs in Russian. All participants of the meeting enjoyed the traditional national treats: Russian tea from a samovar and delicious Uzbek pilaf. The event was accompanied by a film that was shot by foreign students about the events of their life that occurred in the University, which had already become their second home.
