On September 21, at the invitation of Ivan Samoilov, the head of the University Chamber Choir, foreign students of the International Education Institute visited P.I. Tchaikovsky Great Concert Hall of Moscow State Conservatory where they watched a concert dedicated to the solemn closing of the 13th International Autumn Choral Festival named after Prof. B.G. Tevlin "In the Orbit of Igor Stravinsky."

In the first section of the concert there performed the Academic Grand Choir "Master of Choral Singing" under the guidance of Professor Lev Kontorovich, People's Artist of Russia and Honored Artist of Russia. Our students had an opportunity to get acquainted with the spiritual works of such famous composers as I. Stravinsky, F. Poulenc, V.A. Mozart, as well as with the academic singing manner of the choir and soloists and the organ sounding.

In the second section, the students got acquainted with Russian folk art - songs and dances in the bright performance of the Academic Choir of Russian Song of the Russian State Musical Television and Radio Center under the leadership of Mykola Azarov. They watched the concert with genuine interest, immersing in the atmosphere of leisure of the Russian people, watching the change of costumes and moods, comparing national instruments, the manner of national singing and dancing with the cultural peculiarities of the creativity of their countries.

Among the University students who attended the festival were representatives from 17 countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Iran, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Syria, Egypt, Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Côte d ' Ivory Coast and Cape Verde.
