On September 23, the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Digital Technologies and Law” within the Kazan Digital Week – 2022 International Forum dedicated to the modern paradigm of the rule of law digital transformation, organized by the Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov and the Ministry of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The ICS employees presented the results of interdisciplinary research in IT and law, including projects of the Institute's educational and scientific center “Ethics of artificial intelligence in judicial activity.”

The work of the “Regulation of relations in the field of artificial intelligence technologies and robotics” section started with the report of Oksana Aleksandrovna Globenko, PhD, Deputy Director of the Institute for Research who mapped out the discussion format of the section and ignited exceptional interest in the projects implemented by the Institute.

The moderators of the “Digital Technologies in the System of Criminal Law Relations” section noted the high level of the presentation by Ksenia Vladimirovna Sheveleva, senior lecturer of the Legal support of national security Department.

The presentation made by Igor Denisovich Kotilevets, Senior Lecturer of the Digital Data Processing Department, which changed the vector of the on-going discussion in the section “Blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance in legal realities” also attracted unprecedented attention.
