On September 1, on all campuses, the administration of the university traditionally welcomed the students. Everyone who entered received a new freshman badge with the commemorative token of the anniversary of the University.

On the evening of the same day, the long-awaited Freshman Welcome party was held. The event began with a solemn part with the congratulatory words from Alexander Sergeevich Sigov, President of ����Vlog��ý MIREA, Stanislav Alekseevich Kudzh, ����Vlog��ý MIREA Rector, Grigory Valeryevich Petushkov, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy of ����Vlog��ý MIREA and Leonid Skoropupov, Chairman of the Student Union of ����Vlog��ý MIREA. Also, within the framework of the holiday, a traditional march of flags took place, senior students handed over the key of knowledge to freshmen, a student card symbol was traditionally launched into the air, and the best students of specialized departments received A.P. Reutov awards.

Throughout the evening, the creative teams of the Center for Culture and Creativity of ����Vlog��ý MIREA performed on stage. Students treated themselves to cotton candy, participated in interactive activities from VK education and Yurent, and also took memorable pictures in a photo booth.

The closing part of the holiday was incredible, because the cover band “JackFruit” and the headliners of the concert “The Hatters” performed on stage with their top songs. And the festivity ended with bright and fascinating fireworks!
