On April 19 – 20, 2016 at Expocentre (Moscow) there took place the 6th All-Russian conference with the international participation " Caoutchouc and Rubber — 2016: Traditions and Innovations" which was dated for the 19th International Specialized Exhibition of Tires, Rubber Products and Caoutchouc "Tires, RTI and Rubbers 2016" (on April 18 - 21, 2016, Expocentre, Moscow). This conference is held annually and has become a key event of the business program of the International Specialized Exhibition of Tires, Rubber Products and Caoutchouc "Tires, RTI and Rubbers".

The organizers of the 6 All-Russian conference " Caoutchouc and Rubber — 2016: Traditions and Innovations" were the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, LLC NIIEMI and Moscow Technological University (Fine Chemical Technologies Institute) with the assistance of CJSC Expotsentr.

Within 2 days of the conference work there were made 32 reports and one video presentation. Besides, at the conference there was a Scientific Posters session where 24 posters were represented. More than 150 experts, scientists and representatives of branch business from more than 50 companies of various specialization participated in the conference: twenty nine production and scientific companies, twelve higher education institutions, three Applied Research Institutes, four Russian Academy of Sciences Institutes and other companies. Among the participants there were representatives of four foreign firms.

At the conference the staff of Moscow Technological University represented 6 reports and 8 scientific posters.
