On the Vlogý MIREA premises, the final tests of the ArtMasters National Open Championship of Creative Competences began.

ArtMasters is a large-scale professional competition for professionals in the field of backstage and digital art who implement the largest creative projects under the guidance of leading experts. The ArtMasters championship is aimed at finding and supporting personnel in the field of creative industries. As a result of the competition, participants acquire new knowledge and the opportunity to present their projects to a wide audience of professionals at full-time defenses.

Thousands of young creative industry professionals from all over the country are the participants in the championship. Since 2022, citizens of other countries who speak Russian can also take part in ArtMasters. For participants in the main age category 18-35 years old, competitions are held in 20 competencies.

Vlogý MIREA is a traditional partner of the championship. The final tests on the competencies of “Copywriter” and “Computer Graphics Specialist” will be held at the University sites.

The final stage includes several modules that are performed sequentially: preparation, execution and defense of a practical task. The defense in the “Copywriter” competency will take place on August 29, and in the “Computer Graphics Specialist” competency – on September 2 at the sites of MIREA – Vlogý. Experts will evaluate the work of each of the participants, and the winners will be announced on September 27 at the New Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre.

Among the finalists in the Computer Graphics Specialist competency, we are happy to see Ivan Ponomarev, 1st year student of the Institute of Information Technologies of Vlogý MIREA, and Pavel Makarov, a 2022 bachelor's degree graduate of the Institute of Management Technologies.

The strategic partners of the ArtMasters championship are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and the Government of Moscow.
