On March 1, the scientific and educational group of the department KB-5 “Hardware, software and mathematical support of computing systems” of the Institute of Cybersecurity and Digital Technologies held a scientific seminar on Problems of hardware and system software in the digitalization of modern society.
The scientific seminar was opened by Vladimir Petrovich Kulagin, head of the department, Doctor of technical sciences, professor, academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, laureate of the Presidential Prize of the Russian Federation, laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation, honorary professor of the Harbin Institute of Technology, IEEE member. ⠀
The scientific seminar was attended by students, undergraduates, graduate students and teachers of the Institute of Cybersecurity and Digital Technologies.
Presentations made on a high professional level dealt with the most topical problems within the stated agenda and issues of practical interest. Students' presentations were aimed at solving the problems of information security at enterprises, deployment of a cluster on free software, presentation of a mixed algorithm of a finite element analysis system.
The event was interdisciplinary in nature. The issues and prospects of digitalization in modern society were also discussed; the aim was to identify and discuss not only the problem aspects, but also to map out the topics for promising joint research.
