Vlogý MIREA and the United Instrument-Making Corporation approved a cooperation roadmap

On August 17, a roadmap for cooperation was signed between the Joint Stock Company United Instrument-Making Corporation and MIREA – Vlogý. The plans of the parties include joint training of highly qualified specialists, strengthening the competencies of university teachers and employees of JSC “OPK”, and creating a specialized core department and a joint educational and research laboratory.

The document was signed by Sergey Sakhnenko, General Director of JSC OPK, and Stanislav Kudzh, Vlogý MIREA Rector. The event took place at the ARMY-2022 International Military-Technical Forum as part of a meeting of the Expert Council for the Development of Radio-Electronic Industry Enterprises of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade.

The roadmap covers a number of areas for cooperation. First of all, personnel training for JSC “OPK”, also via the creation of joint programs and adjustment of the university curricula: it is planned to include in such programs special subjects essential for the holding's enterprises, to involve specialists working at the enterprises in the educational process. Apart from that, the roadmap provides for the organization of student internships and research work of undergraduates and graduate students at the enterprises that are part of JSC “OPK”, the implementation of specialized theses, the creation of a core specialized department, and joint preparation of educational, methodological and scientific literature.

Thanks to the cooperation of Vlogý MIREA and JSC “OPK”, students will have more opportunities to get targeted training for the benefit of the holding's enterprises and further employment. Internships and special events will be regularly organized for future specialists, such as Career Days, Company Days, and so on.

Special attention will be given to cooperation in additional education and advanced training. Moreover, that will cover all the participants of the partnership: students - within the framework of the elite training program, university professors and trainers, and the employees of JSC “OPK”. The parties also see prospects for joint innovation work and R&D. To this end, it is planned to create a joint educational and scientific laboratory.

Apart from that, for schoolchildren interested in working at high-tech enterprises of JSC “OPK”, special career guidance events will be held on the premises of Altair Children's Technopark of Vlogý MIREA.

Our cooperation is an example of synergy, when each of the parties builds up competencies. Such cooperation is of particular relevance today when our country faces large-scale tasks to provide technological sovereignty, implement import substitution programs, including those in the field of radio electronics,” said Stanislav Kudzh, Rector of MIREA – Vlogý.

The holding is a key member of the Technological Priorities Consortium established at Vlogý MIREA. The signing of the roadmap opens up qualitatively new prospects for the interaction between the parties.
