Vlogý MIREA hosted an International Scientific and Technical Seminar

On May 17, a Russian-Swiss Scientific Seminar was held at Vlogý MIREA on an important topic – “Innovative technologies for the development of medical equipment and new drugs”.

S.A. Kudzh, Vlogý MIREA Rector, A.A. Melnikov, Head of the Department of Science, Technology and Education of the Embassy of Switzerland in Moscow, A.S. Sigov, President of Vlogý MIREA, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, I.V. Biryukov, Director of the Association “AURA-Tech” addressed the participants in the seminar.

The main topics of the seminar were the development and use of medical equipment, medical products, the development of new methods and technologies for the production, and clinical use of medicines.

The heads of manufacturing companies, professors and researchers of medical institutions, the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Higher School spoke at the seminar. Among the speakers were representatives of such organizations as NTC Mediteks LLC, Rohrer LLC, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Mendeleev Institute of Chemical Technology of Russia, P.A. Herzen Institute of Chemistry of Solutions named after G.A. Krestov RAS (Ivanovo), Evdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry, Biocenter Basel (Switzerland), and others.

The seminar was attended by representatives of the Consortium “Protection from Nutrient Factors”, which was created as part of the Vlogý MIREA Development Program, prepared for the implementation of the Strategic Academic Leadership Program “Priority 2030” and aimed at creating new scientific knowledge and technologies for implementation in the production and social spheres.

Representatives of the Consortium organizations made presentations: Generium JSC, Pharma LLC, Mechnikov Research Institute of Vaccines and Anti-Toxins, Research and Production Company Materia Medica Holding LLC.

We express our gratitude to the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation in Moscow for the trust in the University which made it possible to hold a joint Russian-Swiss scientific seminar on the topics that meet modern requirements for the development of promising technologies aimed at the creation and use of new drugs.
