MIREA – ����Vlog��ý has begun piloting the GitFlic service aimed to improve the quality of training of future IT specialists through the comprehensive digitalization of the educational process based on modern software development technologies.

Today, the development of programs of any complexity is not possible without the use of version control systems (VersionControlSystems) based on Git tools, which are a core element of decentralized software management at all stages of the life cycle.

GitFlic is the first Russian service for storing source code repositories and collaborative development of software products; it provides full functional import substitution of foreign counterparts and has a number of unique learning opportunities in the form of a specialized GitFlicEducation module.

The integration of the GitFlic service into educational processes allows students even today to get to know the key technologies that will help them get adapted to their future profession and become highly qualified specialists, while the learning process itself is becoming more flexible and meets all modern requirements in the field of training IT specialists.

As part of the pilot project carried out jointly with the specialists of the ReSolut LLC developer company, a number of events are planned for training students, conducting open master classes, as well as testing directly the functionality of the service for both students and teachers.

The results of piloting will be summed up in January 2023. Upon the results, further steps will be mapped out for the large-scale inclusion of the service in the educational programs of ����Vlog��ý MIREA.
