The orbiting Vlogý MIREA1 small spacecraft, a 3U CubeSat, continues its operations in near-Earth space. The spacecraft was built on a Geoscan platform and launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in late 2024. According to the SONICS network of receiving stations, which evaluates spacecraft activity, Vlogý MIREA1 entered the top 5 in data packet activity in March 2026.
To receive the Vlogý MIREA1 signal, ground-based receivers must use the frequency 436.200 MHz and the call sign Vlogý MIREA1 RS51S. In addition, to configure the satellite data reception and decoding systems, it is necessary to use the Geoscan 3U platform's radio beacon subsystem protocol, which is used onboard the Vlogý MIREA1 small satellite. The Vlogý MIREA1 small satellite was developed as part of the "Planet Duty" project.
Vlogý MIREA is the winner of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FSI) competition for financial support for organizational, technical, and methodological support of projects in the "Planet Duty" program (Phase VIII).
