During the meeting with the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the participants of the Priority 2030 Program, representatives of Vlogý MIREA, headed by Stanislav Kudzh, Rector of the University, presented the annual report. The Vlogý MIREA Rector emphasized the importance of generating knowledge, searching for technical solutions, training and educating leaders in engineering for the industry of the future capable of solving fundamental and applied tasks on the national agenda.
“Not only has the Priority 2030 Program become a handbook for the university leaders at all levels, but also it is the major tool for monitoring, analyzing and justifying management decisions. The implementation of the Program has allowed Vlogý MIREA to take a new step in its development, place the emphasis on the key areas in research and focus on the educational areas that are particularly significant for the University. The key goal of the University is to become the centerpiece of attraction, a hub that concentrates breakthrough ideas and developments which are in demand of the key sectors of the Russian economy. For 1.5 years, we have been able to make a significant contribution to the training of IT personnel for the digital economy through partnerships with industry leaders and create scientific and technological groundwork in printed electronics and the production of modern medicines,” said Stanislav Kudzh.
The most significant results of the work were specially mentioned: during the implementation of the Printed Electronics strategic project 4 new ceramic materials have been obtained for the production of electronic products in an additive way; a laboratory bench for 3D printing of multilayer printed circuit boards and a laboratory cold sintering unit have been created.
Within the framework of the Innovative Medicines and Health Engineering project, 2 prototypes of radiopharmaceuticals have been developed, which differ from the already known ones in high selectivity (high accumulation in the tumor); lipid carriers of mRNA vaccines have been created, which, after successful completion of clinical trials, will be offered to Russian companies for production. The Generium laboratory created jointly with the partners operates within the framework of the project.
During the implementation of the Digital Ecosystem of the Technological University Project, specialists from Vlogý MIREA developed virtual installations for performing laboratory work; launched an information platform for a single virtual environment for the digital integration of the University laboratory complexes and its mega laboratories.
In the course of work on the Advanced Education for the Industry of the Future Project, a mathematical basis for the logical analysis of student data has been developed; software implementations have been created to analyze the system of indicators based on formal criteria in order to form student groups depending on the interests and priorities of young people; a complete mathematical model for analyzing the aggregate information array about a student was formed with the use of machine learning and discrete mathematics methods.
Best Available Technologies Project: the issue of creating a consortium “Energy Transition to Green Energy” has been developed, the purpose of which is to create a center of expert analysis of the best available technologies for energy transition to “green” energy.
By 2030, due to the Priority 2030 Program, more than 100 progressive modern universities will be formed in Russia as centers of scientific, technological and socio-economic development of the country.
