Anastasia Erofeeva, student of the Lomonosov Institute of Fine Chemical Technologies, passed the selection stage and took part in the educational Phygital Universe forum, which was held from April 25 to 29 at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

The educational forum “Phygital Universe” is a platform for networking with specialists and the very best students from all over Russia. Cases, master classes, excursions provide an opportunity to get a new and fresh look at industry specifics, and the most relevant knowledge from practitioners.

Throughout the days of the Forum, the work of the participants was monitored by experts who assigned points for the students’active participation. Upon the results of the master classes and the final assignment, the winners in each track were selected. Anastasia Erofeeva became winner in the track “Applied physics, electronics and nanotechnology”.

During the forum, the participants visited the laboratories of the organizing partner organizations, where they got acquainted with the basics of synthesis and post-growth processing of semiconductor materials, and also created a gas sensor from carbon nanotubes.

Apart from that, the young participants attended master classes on express diagnostics of nanocrystals and energy storage in structural phase transitions, figured out how MEMS gas sensors made of nanostructured nickel oxide work, and attended lectures on nanoemitters and modern microwave devices.
