On September 15, students of the Master’s program studying at the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Plastics Processing of the Lomonosov Institute of Fine Chemical Technologies visited the WasteEcoExpo International Exhibition of Technologies and Equipment for Waste Management 

Waste pollution is one of the major environmental issues of our time. Every year the Earth is increasingly covered with waste, and large areas are allocated for landfills. That is why scientists around the world have started searching for effective ways to recycle waste.

At the exhibition, students had a chance to get to know modern solutions for wastewater treatment, waste disposal from enterprises operating in this field, specifically:

Digitization, informatization and automation in the waste management system;

Circular economy and market of secondary material resources;

Strategic development of the waste management industry, import substitution 2.0;

Technological, environmental solutions for the construction and reclamation of landfills.
