On April 27, tsecond year students of the “Innovation” field of study (27.03.05) of the Department of Innovation Management of the Institute of Management Technologies, took part in the International patriotic historical and educational event “Victory Dictation”.

The Victory Dictation is an event dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War. Every year, hundreds of thousands of dictation participants from all over the world get together to recollect the heroic feat of the Soviet people, test their knowledge of these events and answer 25 questions about the main battles and heroes of the largest and bloodiest war in human history.

The Victory Dictation was organized for the first time in 2019, and since then it has become an annual event. In 2023, the number of Victory Dictation sites exceeded 21.5 thousand, and the number of participants amounted to 1.9 million people. The organizers of the action are United Russia party, the Russian Historical Society, the Russian Military Historical Society, Rosobrnadzor, Rossotrudnichestvo  (the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation), the Volunteers of Victory movement, the Russian Union of Veterans, the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Russian Guard, and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Military-patriotic education and the study of historical facts are very important for shaping the worldview of students. It is necessary to make every effort to ensure that modern youth know the true history of the country.
