The Institute of International Education held an International Reading Competition dedicated to Victory Day

The Institute of International Education hosted a number of events dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Of particular interest for the foreign students was the International Reading Competition dedicated to the Victory Day. Under the terms of the competition, it was necessary to recite a poem dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, record a video and technically arrange it.

Students of the Institute of International Education from Bangladesh, Vietnam, Serbia, Syria, Tajikistan, the Central African Republic, Ecuador, Cameroon, Mongolia, Chad and Equatorial Guinea took part in the International Reading Competition dedicated to Victory Day.

The winners were:

  • Zarifov Khushan (Tajikistan) - S. Orlov "He was buried in the globe of the earth"

  • Le Thanh Dat (Vietnam) - K. Simonov “Comrade”

  • Bui Dinh Hoc (Vietnam) - M. Isakovsky “A Red Army soldier is buried here”

  • Tran Minh Hang (Vietnam) - A. Usachev “What is Victory Day”

  • Tran Toan Thang (Vietnam) - A. Ternovsky “Obelisks”

  • Almarayati Bisher (Syria), Arsienevich Dimitrie (Serbia), Bokhirov Ilkhom (Tajikistan), Imere Howd Davy Elton (Central African Republic), Martakush Simon (Syria), Felix Maria (Ecuador), Sharin Sharin (Bangladesh) - K. Simonov “Wait for me”

  • Azad Adrita (Bangladesh) - Andrey Gryaznov, Lyubov Korotaeva, Nikolai Persianinov, Boris Grachev, Alexei Nemchinov, Georgy Sulakvelidze, Nikolai Morenets “Baksanskaya”

  • Ndzie Zinga Maddy Danitza (Cameroon) - Y. Voronov “In the days of the siege, we did not recognize”

  • Gerelt-Od Mungunsuvd (Mongolia) - Yulia Drunina “I brought home from the fronts of Russia”

  • Hammar Mahamat Zene, (Chad) - Semyon Gudzenko “Before the attack”

  • Nje Okomo Christian (Equatorial Guinea) - Bulat Okudzhava “Goodbye, boys”

The creative projects were headed by lecturers and trainers of the Department of Russian (as a foreign language) of the Institute of International Education. They recommended that the winners take part in the All-Russian Creative Competition named after L.A. Verbitskaya, which will be held at St. Petersburg State University, and the IV Reading Competition among students and graduate students from Asia and Africa “Victory in the Hearts of Generations”.
