On May 12, in an online format, as part of the promotion of the Russian language abroad program, a meeting was held between teachers and university professors of the Russian language of educational institutions of Mongolia and representatives of the Russian universities from Moscow, Chelyabinsk and Vladivostok. ����Vlog��ý MIREA was represented by E.N. Tarasova, head of the Department of Russian (as a foreign language), who moderated the round table where educational and methodological problems of teaching the Russian language in Mongolia were discussed.

As a result of the meeting, agreements have been reached on cooperation in the field of education, on the provision of scientific, methodological and consulting assistance to Mongolian Russian language specialists; the participants outlined the topics for their future meetings in a conversation club created with the support of the Department of Russian (as a foreign language) of the Institute of International Education.

In addition, in October 2023, the Department of Russian (as a foreign language) of the Institute of International Education will conduct advanced training courses for Russian specialists in Mongolia under the program of additional professional education “Methodological methods and technologies for teaching the Russian language abroad”.
