Lecturers and instructors of the Department of Russian (as a foreign language) of the Institute of International Education took part in the scientific and methodological seminar “Specifics of teaching a non-native language in various communicative and speech environments”, organized by .
Experts in teaching Russian as a foreign language, Russian as a non-native language from the University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovakia), the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, the Russian Biotechnical University, the Moscow Pedagogical State University, the Russian State University named after A.N. Kosygin (Technology. Design. Art), Moscow State Technical University named after N. E. Bauman, as well as teachers and students of and others made presentations and held discussions on urgent issues of teaching Russian as a second language.
The Department of the Russian Language (as a Foreign Language) of the Institute of International Education made two presentations: “Russian-speaking Environment as a Factor in the Formation of the Scientific and Cognitive Basis of Student Communication” (speaker – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, head of the department Elena Nikolaevna Tarasova) and “Features of the Development of Communicative Competence in the Process of Teaching Students – Non-native Speakers” (speaker – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Fatima Soslanovna Makoeva).
