On December 1, (ITMO University) hosted the 9th All-Russian Forum “Topical Issues in the Development of Student Sports”.

At the opening of the Forum, among other things, issues of international cooperation in student sports were discussed.

Sergey Seiranov, President of the Russian Students Sports Union (RSSU) noted that student sports in current conditions is a good opportunity to establish and maintain communication with other countries.

The plans for 2023 include holding the International University Sports Festival in Yekaterinburg with the participation of representatives of the CIS, SCO, and BRICS in 14 sports.

The Forum was attended by Dina Sokolova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Youth Policy and International Relations of ����Vlog��ý MIREA. We agreed with colleagues from other universities to discuss the possibilities for cooperation in mass sports for 2023 within the framework of the major international youth projects of ����Vlog��ý MIREA, including the projects under the auspices of the Core Organization for Work with Youth in the CIS, whose functions are performed by the University.

The forum was organized by: the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, the Russian Ministry of Sports, the Russian Student Sports Union, the Association of Student Sports Clubs and ITMO University.
