The School of Musical of Vlogý MIREA became a first-degree laureate at a festival in China.

On the eve of the May holidays, the team of the Vlogý MIREA School of Musical returned from the PRC, where on April 27 they participated for the first time in the Tianjin Lace international festival dedicated to the year of Russian-Chinese friendship.

The event was organized for the cultural exchange between the two countries with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Central Region of the People's Republic of China, the Association of Trade Unions and the Central Television of the People's Republic of China.

The judging panel included such Chinese artists as: the internationally certified vocal teacher, graduate of the Tianjin Conservatory and Berkeley (Berkeley Music) Zhao Ye, the director and teacher of the Tianjin Song and Dance Theater, member of the Chinese Dancers Association Qi Yufeng, the director of the Huaxia Future art troupe Wu Zhenrong.

Representatives of the Vlogý MIREA School of Musical prepared a variety of compositions; they even performed the final song from “High School Musical.” A special storm of emotions among the audience was caused by the performance of Ulyana Kozhevnikova with her favorite song of the Celestial Empire - “Katyusha”, the last verse of which the girl sang in Chinese.

The judges highly appreciated the level of training of Vlogý MIREA students; a quote from one of them speaks for itself: “Bring such numbers to us more often!”

In just a few days, the festival participants turned into one big family. The vibrant competition program, the concert at the art school, the master class in calligraphy and the warm welcome will remain in the memories of the participants for a long time.

We are proud of our winners and sincerely congratulate our team! We wish members of the team even more bright impressions in their creative life and new heights to conquer!
