On July 27 and 28, the Second Summit of the Russian-African Economic and Humanitarian Forum was held in St. Petersburg on the territory of the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center.

Participants of the Student Media Center of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation were involved in covering the event. Among them was a student of the Institute of International Education of ����Vlog��ý MIREA Nje Okomo Christian.

“It was very exciting and educational. This is a great opportunity to get personally acquainted with the current economic trends. I want to express my gratitude to the leaders and mentors for their support and trust,” said Nje Okomo Christian.

As a result of the summit, a final declaration was adopted, which impacted almost all the areas of mutual cooperation, including higher education.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said: “Cooperation in the field of education and personnel training will be continued, the number of African students studying in Russia will be increased, including the number of those studying on a budgetary basis. Joint effort in African countries will create branches of leading Russian universities, secondary schools, including those teaching a number of subjects in Russian.”
