The team of MIREA – ����Vlog��ý became the champion of the seventh season of the All-Russian Esports Student League.

The finals of the All-Russian Esports Student League were held this weekend, June 17 and 18, in Nizhny Novgorod.

The competitions of the seventh season of the All-Russian Esports Student League were held in five types of program: Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Hearthstone, Clash Royale and StarCraft II. Eight teams from six Russian cities competed in the final stage of the competition. Only the ����Vlog��ý MIREA team was able to reach the finals in all five disciplines!

In the finals, our e-sportsmen became winners in three types of the program, and in two more, they finished in second place. Representatives of ����Vlog��ý MIREA became the winners of competitive puzzle tournaments Hearthstone and Clash Royale, as well as real-time strategy Starcraft II, and took second place in Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments.

In total, 62 regions held the VLKS (Student League All-Russian Esports competition) qualifying tournaments in the seventh season. Teams of 598 universities participated in them. Eight teams from six cities of Russia gathered for the finals in Nizhny Novgorod: teams of universities from SibFU (Krasnoyarsk Territory), Far Eastern State University (Khabarovsk Territory), ITMO (St. Petersburg), GUAP (St. region), ����Vlog��ý MIREA (Moscow) and NRU MPEI (Moscow). They contested the prize fund of 3 million rubles.

Upon the results of the games in all disciplines of the tournament, the following universities entered the top three:

• 1st place – ����Vlog��ý MIREA;

• 2nd place – UrFU;

• 3rd place – NRU MPEI.

Upon the results of this season, the team of MIREA – ����Vlog��ý set a new record for the number of points scored in the final – 495.
