On May 6, a solemn celebration of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War took place at ����Vlog��ý MIREA.

During the day, on the territory of three campuses of ����Vlog��ý MIREA, located at 20 Stromynka Street and 78 and 86 Vernadsky Avenue, everyone was able to take part in the ceremony and lay flowers in memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. Representatives of the university administration, as well as groups from the Center of Culture and Creativity of ����Vlog��ý MIREA, spoke at the event. In addition, the students performed the traditional “Victory Waltz”.

At the end of the assembly on 20 Stromynka Street, there was a procession of representatives of ����Vlog��ý MIREA, a rally and a ceremony of laying flowers at the first Eternal Flame of the memorial complex at the Preobrazhenskoye Cemetery. The ceremony was attended by students and employees of ����Vlog��ý MIREA, including the Rector of the University Stanislav Alekseevich Kudzh and the Vice-Rector of ����Vlog��ý MIREA Grigory Valerievich Petushkov. The ceremony was also attended by the Chairman of the Veterans Council Commission for Interaction with Veteran Organizations of Higher School Nikolai Nikolaevich Yurov and the clergyman, cleric of the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in Golyanov, responsible for the interaction of the Russian Orthodox Church with the ����Vlog��ý MIREA campus on 20 Stromynka Street, Deacon Dimitry Markov. Participants in the procession honored the memory of the fallen defenders of the Motherland, paying tribute and respect to their feat.
