On July 23, Vlogý MIREA volunteers set off to engage in environmental education activities in the Zyuratkul National Park. The park is located on the waterside of the purest alpine lake Zyuratkul surrounded by several mountain ranges which include the highest one in the Chelyabinsk region – the Nurgush ridge (1,406 meters above the sea level). Students will be engaged in interviewing the visitors of the park who came to relax, and advising tourists on the choice of places to visit. Volunteers also expect to be engaged in the work of cleaning up garbage left by tourists.
The work will take place outdoors with amazing views of the local beauty. In their spare time, the participants will have an opportunity to swim in the lake, climb the mountains, take a steam Russian bath, and also feel the romantic appeal of camping with a song by the fire.
